CONTAINER CRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container crane including a spreader automatic tilt function capable of automatically controlling a spreader to perform a tilt operation and reducing time for unloading and loading containers when the containers on a ship or in a hatch are unloaded or the containers are loaded in the hatch.SOLUTION: A container crane includes: two laser scanners provided in a trolley; a spreader that is a lifter dedicated to ship containers; and a control device to which signals are input from the laser scanners, and that controls the spreader to perform a tilt operation. The control device is controlled so as to detect a tilt of the spreader on the basis of differences in distance and angle between scan lines of two laser beams emitted from the laser scanners.
