PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that enables a further efficient inspection of whether or not a control variable on a display panel and stored in a storage device is appropriate.SOLUTION: The display device comprises a display panel 200 that has a display area 202 having an image displayed, and a control circuit 203 controlling display of an image. The control circuit has: a control variable storage area in which a control variable used in the display control of the image is stored; a criterion inspection code storage area 211 in which a criterion inspection code serving as a criterion for inspecting whether or not the control variable to be stored in the control variable storage area is appropriate is stored; a comparison inspection code storage area 213 in which a comparison inspection code to be compared with the criterion inspection code is stored; an inspection code calculation storage part 215 that calculates an inspection code about the control variable stored in the control variable storage area as the comparison inspection code, and stores the inspection code in the comparison inspection code storage area; and a determination process part 216 that compares the criterion inspection code with the comparison inspection code, and determines whether or not the control variable stored in the control variable storage area is appropriate. |
