PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively avoid generation of cracks in a transfer layer upon peeling a support in a process of applying a transfer method to an optical film comprising a polarizing plate.SOLUTION: An optical film 3 produced by integrally laminating a transfer layer to a linearly polarizing plate 5 via an adhesive layer 7 is provided, in which the transfer layer includes at least a first molded resin layer 10, a first alignment layer 11 formed by a molding process on the surface of the first molded resin layer 10, and a first retardation layer 8 formed of a liquid crystal material that is aligned by the alignment regulation force of the first alignment layer 11 and then cured. The hardness of the adhesive layer 7 is 0.39 times or more and 2.45 times or less of the hardness of the first molded resin layer.
