An electrostatic atomizer (100) is provided with a spray electrode (1), a reference electrode (2), a current-controlling means (24), and a voltage-applying means (22). A voltage is applied between the spray electrode (1) and the reference electrode (2). The current-controlling means (24) controls the amount of current flowing through the reference electrode (2). The voltage-applying means (22) applies a voltage between the spray electrode (1) and the reference electrode (2) on the basis of the current controlled by the current-controlling means (24). The tip of the reference electrode (2) is shaped so as to have a specific radius of curvature. |
