The method involves establishing a defined, fluid filled space (27) adjacent to a portion of a bottom (16), and creating a suspension of the sediment or aquatic soil including a diaspora bank (29) such as seed bank, within a demarcated land portion in the fluid filled space. A re-sedimentation of the suspension is awaited in the fluid filled space. A water body (17) is arranged to penetrate into the space and to the bottom. The bottom is treated with a fluid such as water or air, and the soil is stirred using a mechanical unit such as a stirrer. An independent claim is also included for a device for restoration of undergrowth in a sediment or aquatic soil. |
