摘要 <p>The method involves attaching a polishing apparatus (16) to a strength and/or torque sensor with a lightweight robot (14). The predetermined force is applied to component (12) in transverse direction (y) and vertical direction (z) by robot and component is moved in trajectory direction (x). A guide element (18) is applied in transverse direction to component and is guided along component by polishing apparatus using robot. The movement of robot is reversed in trajectory direction when force acting on guide element in trajectory direction exceeds predetermined force. An independent claim is included for a device for polishing of component.</p>
