The assembly (100) has a housing (110), a motor and a drive shaft (120) for driving a removable tool i.e. edge trimmer, when the tool is connected to the assembly. The motor drives the drive shaft over a major axis within the housing. The drive shaft is movable along a rotational axis with respect to the housing, where axial position of the drive shaft in the housing defines operating mode of the assembly by using a switch. The drive shaft is engaged into an operating element that controls switch position, where the operating element is axially moved with respect to the housing. An independent claim is also included for a multi-cavity mold system.
