摘要 The present invention relates to a method for preparing a soft carbon negative electrode material of a lithium ion battery, comprising the steps of mixing a catalyst and pitch; raising the temperature of the mixture to 180 to 380°C, and making the mixture react for at least 0.7h; obtaining an intermediate phase of a spherical primary product by raising the temperature of the mixture to 320 to 600°C and making the mixture react at least for 0.3h; obtaining an intermediate phase precursor of soft carbon-based carbon particulates by removing impurities from the intermediate phase of the spherical primary product and drying the product; mixing the intermediate phase precursor of the soft carbon-based carbon particulates and a nitrogen-containing compound and/or a boron-containing compound, and retaining the mixture; and obtaining a soft carbon negative electrode material by raising the temperature of the mixture to 400 to 1600°C under a protective atmosphere and pyrolyzing the mixture at least for 0.6h. A spherical soft carbon negative electrode material prepared by the method above has reversible specific capacity more than 400mAh/g, and superior rapid lithium insertion/separation ability, magnification performance, circulation performance, and low temperature performance.
