An automatic fishing device has a pole supporting a fishing line. The fishing line has a first end and a second end. The first end is wound around a powered reel and the second end has a hook. A controller controls the powered reel and has an on position and an off position. An activation line is releasably secured to the pole such that when a fish is hooked the activation line is released and the controller is moved to the on position causing the powered reel to reel in the fish. A deactivation line is in communication with the fishing line such that when the fish is pulled in it catches on the deactivation line and moves the controller to the off position. |
