PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair iron capable of performing efficient hair styling.SOLUTION: A hair iron 1 includes: a first enclosure 10 and a second enclosure 30 each formed in a substantially cuboid shape, which are mutually swingable so that one comes close to or gets away from another; a pair of a first clamping part 11 and a second clamping part 31 for clamping hair to heat it when the first enclosure 10 and the second enclosure 30 come close to each other; an air suction inlet 13 and an air blowoff outlet 14 provided to the first enclosure 10; a blowing duct 15 for making the air suction inlet 13 and the air blowoff outlet 14 communicate with each other; a blowing fan 16 for circulating air flow to the blowing duct 15; and an electrically-charged particle generation device 18 for emitting electrically-charged particles to the air flow flowing through the blowing duct 15. The air blowoff outlet 14 is set on a side surface 10s having one surface on which the first enclosure 10 and the first clamping part 11 are mounted, as a front face 10f. |
