<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive beam support structure in which a plurality of functions such as an earthquake resistant function and a base isolation function or the earthquake resistant function and a vibration control function can be presented by a kind of beam support members.SOLUTION: A flexible beam support member (10) is formed by bundling a plurality of spring steel wires (11a). A lower end portion of the beam support member (10) is rigidly coupled to a foundation or downstairs beam (3) of an architectural structure, and an upper end portion of the beam support member (10) is connected to an upstairs beam (6) by a ball joint mechanism (12) so as to freely change a connection angle with respect to the upstairs beam (6). Preferably, a specific structure of the ball joint mechanism (12) is formed from a first joint member (21) including a spherical recess (21a) and a second joint member (22) including a spherical protrusion (22a) which is fitted to the spherical recess (21a) in a rotatable manner.</p> |
