PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement device capable of efficiently performing an operation relating to switching of operation modes, and a program.SOLUTION: The settlement device having a plurality of operation modes comprises: display means which displays a selection screen for receiving the selection of one operation mode from among the plurality of operation modes; first switch means for operating the settlement device in the operation mode received from the selection screen; first receiving means for receiving an instruction to stop the operation mode during operation; reset means for stopping the operation mode which is active at present, upon receiving the stop instruction, and causing the display means to display the selection screen; second receiving means for receiving an instruction of switching to any other operation mode than a specific operation mode while the specific operation mode is active among the plurality of operation modes; and second switch means for switching the operation of the settlement device from the specific operation mode to the other operation mode upon receiving the switching instruction. |
