PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerically controlled machine tool capable of accurately correcting errors in a position and a posture of a machine tool having a rotary feed shaft.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for creating an error map of a numerically controlled machine tool which has a plurality of linear feed shafts and a plurality of rotary feed shafts and which is constituted in such a manner that a main shaft and a table are movable relatively to each other. In the method, a plurality of measurement points corresponding to rotation angles of the plurality of rotary feed shafts are set, a relative position and a relative posture of the main shaft and the table in each measurement point are measured while adjusting or considering the error of the operation range of the linear feed shaft, the position error and/or the posture error of each measurement point are obtained, which are generated when the plurality of rotary feed shafts is operated, and the position error and the posture error are stored as a multidimensional error map corresponding to the rotation angle of the plurality of rotary feed shafts. |
