ANTENNA DEVICE OF MOBILE TERMINAL

Various mobile communication terminals and methods therefore, concerning antenna improvements, are discussed. One mobile communication terminal is described which includes a battery between the front side and planar outer rear side of the terminal, a display on the front side of the terminal, a first part having conductive material and constituting a first portion of the planar outer rear side of the mobile communication terminal, a second part having a non-conductive material and constituting a second portion of the planar outer rear side of the terminal, and an antenna mounted within the terminal. At least a part of the antenna is disposed between the front side and the second portion of the planar outer rear side of the terminal.

1. A mobile communication terminal comprising:
a battery disposed in the mobile communication terminal, between a front side and a planar outer rear side of the mobile communication terminal; a display disposed at the front side of the mobile communication terminal; a first part having conductive material and constituting a first portion of the planar outer rear side of the mobile communication terminal; a second part having non-conductive material and constituting a second portion of the planar outer rear side of the mobile communication terminal; and an antenna mounted within the mobile communication terminal, the antenna comprising:
a radiation unit capable of receiving a signal, at least a portion of the radiation unit being disposed between the front side and the second portion of the planar outer rear side of the mobile communication terminal,a feeding unit for electrically connecting the radiation unit to a circuit board, anda ground part attached to the first part and electrically connecting the radiation unit to the first part, the ground part being separated from the feeding unit by a space.
