According to an embodiment, an MRI device (20) comprises a first RF coil device (700), a wireless communication part (640), and an image reconstruction part (56). The first RF coil device is wirelessly connected via an induction field to a second RF coil device, and receives a digitized MR signal which is wirelessly transmitted from the second RF coil device (800). The first RF coil device wirelessly transmits, via the induction field to a wireless communication part, the MR signal which is detected by the first RF coil device and the MR signal which is acquired from the second RF coil device. The wireless communication part receives, via the induction field, the MR signal which is wirelessly transmitted from the first RF coil device. The image reconstruction part reconstructs image data on the basis of the MR signal which is received by the wireless communication part.
