The present invention relates to an impact absorbing band used for an impact absorbing safety belt (1) for preventing a worker from falling when the worker works at a high place. A cuttable member, which is woven by upper webbing and lower webbing (120, 140) at the ratio of 5:1 or 1:5, connects the upper webbing and the lower webbing, and is cut when being applied with an impact, is combined of a first connecting yarn (280) and a second connecting yarn (300). The first connecting yarn (280) is woven by a weft (240a) on the surface strand (121) of the upper webbing (120) and a weft (240d) on the surface strand (141) of the lower webbing (140) at the gap of 1:1. The second connecting yarn (300) is woven by a weft (240a) of the upper webbing (120) and the weft (240d) of the lower webbing (140) at the gap of 2:2 in an alternate manner. |
