The present invention relates to a solid state pick-up device for increasing a transmission efficiency of charges and a method of manufacturing the same. The present invention provides a solid state pick-up device for increasing efficiency of transmitting charges, in which a channel of an electrode (11) has a wide width in a cell charge coupled device (CCD) transmission channel to increase a charge transmission amount per unit time. The purpose of the present invention is to move a large amount of movable charges at once through the wide channel width in the transmission channel having an inclined structure, thereby giving a good image to consumers by satisfying various needs of the consumers by significantly improving the quality and reliability of a product.
