A cleaning device for a carding machine according to the present invention comprises a transfer unit having a cutting blade in a thin film shape, and a holding unit assembled with a frame so as to hang and hold the transfer unit at the position close to a rotary member of the carding machine. The transfer unit can position the cutting blade in the interval of a saw blade stand wound and fixed to the outer periphery of the rotary member in a spiral shape. In the case the rotary member rotates, the cutting blade fixed to the transfer unit crosses from one side of the rotary member to the other side to scrape and remove solidified foreign substances or residues in the interval. As such, the present invention provides a cleaning device, which can conveniently assemble and install the transfer unit and a holding unit to be adjacent to the rotary member installed in a frame of a carding machine, and automatically performs a cleaning task while the transfer unit moves along the hangers of the holding unit since a lever is unlocked with user′s manual operation so as to easily and conveniently remove solidified foreign substances or residues in the rotary member. Accordingly, manual operations are excluded, the operator′s labor is reduced and safety accidents are prevented in the cleaning process of a carding machine. |
