The present invention relates to an automotive transmission, more specifically the invention relates to the automotive transmission capable of being minimized with improved space use. The present invention comprises at least two layers and each layer is arranged in the same direction; a display unit displaying shifting patterns including at least one gear step having a selective step for selecting another layer; a gearshift moving along the arrangement direction to select the gear step; and a shifting control unit controlling the movement of the gearshift moving along the arrangement direction, and sensing the location of the gearshift. The display unit displays directional patterns indicating the location pattern of the gearshift according to the selection of each gear step on one side of the each gear step. The shifting control unit is connected to the gearshift to control the movement of the gearshift. The shifting control unit includes a movement control unit providing an operating force according to the movement of the gearshift; and a location sensing unit, which senses the location of the gearshift. |
