PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat fixing device capable of holding the surface quality of a fixing member for a long period to prevent the occurrence of image defects.SOLUTION: A heat fixing device includes: a fixing member that is brought into contact, on the surface, with a recording medium and an unfixed toner carried on the recording medium to heat-fix the unfixed toner onto the recording medium; and a rubbing member that is rotationally driven to rub the surface to maintain the surface quality of the fixing member. The heat fixing device further includes a cleaning member having a brush part that rubs to clean the surface of the rubbing member. |
