<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate mist having a sterilization action and supply the mist to storage rooms without generating harmful gas such as ozone while using an electrostatic atomizer as mist generation means.SOLUTION: An electrostatic atomizer 36 is installed on a partition plate 8 between a cold room 3 and a vegetable room 4. Water W in a water tank 43 is supplied to a mist emission portion 49 via a water absorbing pin 48, a water-retention material 47, and a conductive sheet 46. A high negative voltage is applied from a power supply device 56 to the mist emission portion 49, and the mist emission portion 49 emits mist containing hydroxy radicals having a strong oxidation action. The mist is supplied from a mist emission port 52 into the vegetable room 4. A counter electrode to the mist emission portion 49 is not installed near the mist emission portion 49 and no ozone is generated. The water tank 43 includes water purification means including a photocatalyst 69.</p> |
