<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation-type air conditioner capable of preventing generation of an excessive refrigerant circulation amount in a cooling bypass circuit during a low-load cooling operation, and realizing an appropriate cooling operation.SOLUTION: An outdoor unit (1) of a separation-type air conditioner includes: a bypass circuit (16) for bypassing a part of liquid refrigerant liquefied in an outdoor heat exchanger (12) to a suction side of a compressor (11) via a bypass electric expansion valve (EVb); and a super-cooler (15) for super-cooling the liquid refrigerant transported to an indoor electric expansion valve (EVc) by evaporation heat of low-pressure refrigerant having passed through the bypass electric expansion valve (EVb). The bypass circuit (16) is arranged to be exposed to outdoor air after having passed through the outdoor heat exchanger. The separation-type air conditioner also includes a control unit for preventing a bypass refrigerant circulation amount Gb of refrigerant circulating in the bypass circuit (16) from becoming excessive during a low-load cooling operation for operating the compressor (11) at low speed.</p> |
