<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a composition which can exhibit such excellent temperature-sensitive thickening properties that the composition has a low viscosity at a lower temperature and is therefore easy to handle and is rapidly thickened when the temperature of the composition is raised. The present invention is a composition comprising a vinyl-alcohol-type polymer that contains a monomer unit having a polyoxyalkylene group and a surfactant, wherein the polyoxyalkylene group contains a block represented by formula (1), the amount of a constituent unit of the block is 50 mol% or more relative to the amount of the polyoxyalkylene group, the content of the monomer unit is 0.05 to 10 mol% inclusive relative to the content of the monomer unit of the vinyl-alcohol-type polymer, the vinyl-alcohol-type polymer has a viscosity average polymerization degree of 150 to 5,000 inclusive and a saponification degree of 40 to 99.99 mol% inclusive, and the surfactant is a compound represented by formula (I).</p> |
