<p>This hair care device (1) is provided with: a grip section (10) formed in a columnar shape with an intake opening (15) opened therein; a brush section (30) that is joined in the axial direction to the grip section (10), has a plurality of brush bristles (31) provided upright at the peripheral surface thereof, and has a discharge opening (33) opened between the brush bristles; an air pathway (24) that is provided interconnecting the interior of the grip section (10) and the flange section (30) and that leads a flow of air from the intake opening (15) to the discharge opening (33); a blower (3) that is disposed in the air pathway (24); and a charged particle generating device (20) that has a discharge electrode (21) that faces the air pathway (24) downstream of the blower (3) and that generates charged particles. In the hair care device (1), which styles hair by means of the brush bristles (31) while a flow of air containing charged particles is sent out from the discharge opening (33), the air pathway (24) has a throttle (26) that throttles the flow path, and the discharge electrode (21) is disposed in the peripheral portion of the air pathway (24) downstream of the throttle (26).</p> |
