Class 20 (4) The roof trim panel 22 of a motor truck &c. is supported from a marginal flange 21 of the roof rail 17 by a rubber or other resilient retainer strip 24 of S-shape with its deep laterally spaced grooves respectively accommodating the flange 21 and the edge of the panel. The portion 31 of the strip between the mid-portion and the lower flange or edge 28 has a lip 32 which embraces the corner formed between portions 18, 19 of the roof rail and the distortion of which when in position compresses flange 78 against the panel.</p> |
