<p>The invention relates to a method for removing film from packaging units, which have containers combined by means of a film, which containers are arranged in at least two rows in the packaging unit, wherein a severing device is provided in order to sever the film, wherein the packaging unit is conveyed in a conveying direction relative to the severing direction. The invention further relates to a film-removal station for carrying out the method. Advantageously, the severing device (7) severs the bottom region of the film (2), wherein however a spreading element (8) is provided, which runs in advance of the severing device (7) as viewed in the conveying direction (5). The containers (3) are freed from the film (2) at the bottom by means of bottom conveying elements (13,22; 13,23; 13,24; 13,25) so that the film (2) can be transported away at the top.</p> |
