<p>The hydrant (1) has a housing-like jacket tube (2) in which a valve seat is arranged. A drainage opening (9) is arranged in the side wall of the jacket tube. A sealing edge is provided which lies in a closing position of a valve head at an inner wall of the jacket tube within the area of a lower edge of the drainage opening. The sealing edge is inclined against the horizontal. The valve head is guided in vertical direction through the valve seat in closing position. An independent claim is included for a valve head for use in a hydrant.</p> |
