The present invention relates to a security and disaster prevention system and method for performing communications using sound waves and, more particularly, relates to a security and disaster prevention system and method for performing communications using sound waves including a sensor unit including a sensor for detecting information on security and disaster prevention; a sound wave generating unit generating a predetermined sound wave including the detected information, when the information for security and disaster prevention is detected from the sensor unit; and a sound wave detecting unit extracting the sound wave generated from the sound wave generating unit among received sound waves. According to the present invention, even when a wired or wireless transmitting device for transmitting a signal from a sensor for security and disaster prevention to a central control device and a device for generating an alarm sound are not all prepared, the two functions thereof can be all performed, thereby diversifying functions and reducing production costs. |
