<p>Fragrance mixture, preferably perfume oil, comprises (a) (2S,5S,8R)-6-isopropyl-8-methoxy-2,10,10-trimethylspiro[4.5]dec-6-ene (A1) and (2S,5S,8S)-6-isopropyl-8-methoxy-2,10,10-trimethylspiro[4.5] dec-6-ene (A2), and (b) one or more other musk fragrances, which are not isolongifolenyl methylether, where the weight ratio of the total amount of musk fragrances of the component (b) to the total amount of (A1) and (A2) is >= 1:2, preferably >= 3:2. An independent claim is included for modifying, preferably for reducing or suppressing a metallic note of one or more musk compounds, preferably one or more macrocyclic musk compounds, comprising mixing one or more musk compounds, preferably one or more macrocyclic musk compounds, with a total amount of compounds (A1) and (A2), which is sufficient to modify the metallic note, preferably iron note, preferably to reduce or suppress one, several or all of the musk compounds.</p> |
