<p>A decking system 2 comprises an elongate base member 4 having base face 8, upper face 6 and a channel 20. A non-slip member 30 is disposed within the channel, which has a bottom face 40 extending across the channel at an angle to the base face. The base member may be formed from wood and may comprise a single channel or a plurality of channels. The non-slip member may comprise an elastomer such as EPDM and may be in the form of granules dispersed in a resin matrix. The upper surface 32 of the non-slip member may extend beyond the upper surface of the base member. The bottom face of the channel may comprise single or first and second angled portions arranged in a V-shape. One or more drainage bores 50 and a drainage channel may be provided in the bottom face of the channel.</p> |
