PURPOSE: An azipod assembly and a ship with the same are provided to stably propel the ship in all the situations. CONSTITUTION: An azipod assembly(100) for a ship comprises a lifting rod(110), a propelling unit(120), a lifting device(130), and a supporting device(140). The lifting rod is installed in a hull(10) to be lifted. The propelling unit is coupled to the lower part of the lifting rod and comprises a propeller(122) and a propulsion motor(123) for driving the propeller. The lifting device is installed in the hull to lift the lifting rod. The supporting device supports the lifting rod exposed to the outside of the hull. The position of the supporting device is changed according to the displacement of the lifting rod. |
