<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an examination plan creation device capable of obtaining an appropriate examination date according to growth of a tumor. <P>SOLUTION: An examination plan creation device 100 includes: means for acquiring time-series tumor data that includes information about a size of certain tumor and an examination date; means for calculating doubling time DT of the tumor: means for calculating a growing rate r of the tumor from the doubling time DT; means for obtaining an interpolation function based on alteration of the growing rate r of the tumor from moment to moment; means for using the interpolation function to estimate an arrival date D<SB POS="POST">th</SB>when the tumor reaches a predetermined condition (for example, a date when the growing rate reaches a predetermined threshold); and means for calculating and outputting a date going back predetermined lead time from the estimated arrival date as a next examination date. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
