PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle air conditioner which stably blows air from a plurality of air passages. SOLUTION: In the vehicle air conditioner, first and second air passages 9 and 10 are formed in a branched manner in a downstream portion of an air conditioning case 2, and the second air passage 10 branches into a defroster passage 14, a center face passage 12 and a side face passage 13. The first air passage 9 is a foot passage for blowing air toward the feet of an occupant, and the first and second air passages 9 and 10 are selectively opened/closed by a first opening/closing means 11. The first opening/closing means 11 has a seal member 16 provided in a contact part with the air conditioning case 2 while the first air passage 9 is fully opened. In this state, a micro gap 17 is formed by the air conditioning case 2, the seal member 16 and the first opening/closing means 11, and spaces on the upstream and downstream sides of the first opening/closing means 11 communicate with each other via the micro gap 17.
