The method involves receiving readings of an energy meter (10) containing information of an energy quantity from a charging station (4) in a center (6), where the energy quantity is related to the charging station during a charging process. The energy meter readings are subsequently transmitted from the center to a cashpoint system (8). A release signal for releasing a charge current in the charging station is received from the cashpoint system in the center. The release signal is subsequently transmitted from the center to the charging station. An independent claim is also included for a system for exchanging charging information between a charging station and a cashpoint system. |
