<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller for a hybrid vehicle capable of effectively using electric energy supplied to a motor by using the motor as a drive source and a heat source. <P>SOLUTION: The motor controller for the hybrid vehicle has: an engine 220; a motor 212 equipped with first, second, and third windings 212a, 212b, 212c connected in series to respective phases; and a motor control means for energizing only the first winding 212a of the motor 212 during high speed rotation, energizing the first and the second windings 212a, 212b during intermediate speed rotation, and energizing all the windings 212a, 212b, 212c during low speed rotation. The motor controller includes a cold state detection means 260 for detecting the cold state of the engine 220. When the cold state detection means 260 detects the cold state, the motor control means energizes only the first winding 212a even during the low speed rotation or during the intermediate speed rotation so as to warm the engine 220 in the cold state by using heat generated in the motor 212. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
