A display device (100) including a display part (2), a light emitting element (6a) adapted to shine light into the display part (2), a light emitting element board (6b) with the light emitting element (6a) fixed on one side, a heat dissipating material (10) formed by bending a sheet material made of metal so as to include a first plane attached to an other side of the light emitting element board (6b) and a second plane that forms a specified angle with respect to the first plane and has a heat dissipation function to dissipate heat from the light emitting element (6a). The heat dissipating material (10) includes a release part (10k) formed by removing a bended part (10g) that is the boundary of the first plane and the second plane. The display device (100) also includes a board supporting part (10n) formed in an area corresponding to the release part (10k) in the second plane. |
