Disclosed in the present invention is a transverse wall of a ship basal external plate having an eaved cross-sectional structure to make air supplied to the ship basal external plate face a contact surface between a ship hull and water. For the purpose, the present invention includes a frame formed on the base of a ship to surround multiple air holes for supplying air; multiple air guide grooves formed on a partial interval on the topside of the frame, while being arranged on positions corresponding to the air holes to guide the air supplied by the air holes to the outside; and an air guide foil protruded from the end portion of the frame, in an eaved shape, to guide the air guided from the air guide grooves toward the ship basal external plate.
