The present invention relates to water repellent bristles and a toothbrush including the same. The bristles including a water repellent component, preferably, perfluorocarbon, has a water repellent property which has remarkably low moisture absorption so that the remaining moisture within the bristles after brushing teeth is drastically reduced. According to the present invention, the moisture evaporation speed becomes very fast so that the proliferation performance of bacteria can be suppressed, and therefore, the bacterial oral infection can be prevented. Furthermore, the present invention provides a water repellent toothbrush including the water repellent bristles. |
