The system has storage cells (1) having a container with bottom and top portions provided with electrical output terminals (13, 14). A tray member (2) is provided with through openings (20), and adapter cups (3) are designed to be placed on the top portion of the storage cell and to be received in one of the through openings. Each adapter cup and the tray member are made up of electrically insulating material or electrically conducting material. Rings (5) are placed on the bottom portion of the storage cell and received in one of through openings (40) of another tray member (4). An independent claim is also included for a battery comprising electrochemical storage cells. |
