PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact vehicle steering device that achieves excellent steering feeling. SOLUTION: A steer-by-wire vehicle steering device 1 has: a reaction-force-applying motor 10 including a rotor 58 coupled to a steering member 2; a regulating mechanism 70 for regulating the rotation of the steering member 2 when the steering angle of a steering wheel is maximum; and a friction-resistance-applying member 75 for applying friction resistance to rotation of the steering member 2 via the rotor 58.
