<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently separating impurity elements such as bismuth, tin and antimony from a solution of platinum group elements at a low cost and obtaining the solution of the platinum group elements with a low concentration of the impurity elements. <P>SOLUTION: Potassium chloride is added to the solution of the platinum group element to turn the platinum group element to potassium salt, dilute hydrochloric acid whose concentration is 1 to 3 mol/l is added to the obtained platinum group potassium salt, mixing and washing are performed, and then a sodium hydroxide solution is added to the washed potassium salt to obtain potassium salt neutralizing precipitate. Sodium hydroxide and an oxidizing agent are added to the potassium salt neutralizing precipitate, exudation is performed, hydrochloric acid is added to collected exudation residue, and thus a platinum group hydroxide solution is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
