<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve not only an ion exchange resin without using a catalyst, but also TOC in a treatment liquid successfully, thereby allowing an improved volume reduction rate and a successful separation recovery of a radioactive material. <P>SOLUTION: A processing apparatus for the ion exchange resin to be used for reactor water purification at a nuclear power plant, includes a reaction vessel which accumulates a mixture of the ion exchange resin and water as ion exchange resin slurry and heats the ion exchange resin slurry at a processing temperature of 100°C or more and under a processing pressure equal to or higher than a saturated steam pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
