The LED module (1) has housing (2) that is provided with housing portion (20). A support plate (3) is accommodated within housing. Two electrical connecting cables are connected to the electrical supply unit for driving the LED (4). An attaching unit is located to attach the LED module in a lamp housing of lamp. An external thread (20') is formed on the housing portion and corresponded with inner thread of the lamp housing. An independent claim is included for lamp.
