A child safety seat assembly (100) includes a shell body (114) for defining a support base (104) attachable to a child seat (102), an extension arm (116) coupled with the shell body (114), an anchor latch (110) affixed with the extension arm (116) via a fastener (126), the anchor latch (110) being operable to with an anchorage fixture (112) of a vehicle, and a cushion part (130) affixed in the extension arm (116) adjacent to the fastener (126). The cushion part (130) is formed as an integral hollow body (132), the hollow body (132) has a first, a second and a third sidewall (136;140;142), the first sidewall (136) facing the fastener (126), and the second and third sidewalls (140;142) respectively include inward recessed surfaces (144) and are respectively connected with two side edges of the first sidewall (136). When the fastener (126) and the anchor latch (110) are forced to displace in unison relative to the extension arm (116), the fastener (126) and the first sidewall (136) push against each other to cause deformation of the cushion part (130). |
