The invention relates to a device (10) for a kitchen device. The device (10) has an inner chamber (20) for guiding, preparing, and/or storing food, and the device (10) has at least one indentation (23) on an inner face (21) of the inner chamber (20), said indentation being oriented in the direction of the interior of the inner chamber (20) in order to reduce the static and/or slide friction of the food on the inner face (21). The invention allows the production of a device for a kitchen device using simple constructional and cost-effective means, said device allowing an improved guiding, preparing, and/or storing of food. In particular, a device can be provided with an inner chamber along the inner face of which food can slide better.
