PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a binder so that a binder can be brought into a closure state simply by placing a binding member and rotating a side plate. SOLUTION: Side plates 230 and 231 include placing parts 236 on which binding members 240 and 241 are placed, and holding parts which are provided on a side opposite to a bottom plate 220 with respect to the placing parts 236 and hold and maintain the binding members 240 and 241 placed on the placing parts 236 between the parts and the placing parts 236. The placing parts 236 keep the binding members 240 and 241 left as placed thereon with the side plates 230 and 231 in open states with respect to the bottom plate 220 even if the side plates 230 and 231 are erected with respect to the bottom plate 220.
