A communication terminal and a displaying method thereof are provided to sense a touch pattern including a touch time with regard to a touch screen, thereby performing a desired function among functions. A controller(180) displays a plurality of function regions through a touch screen. The controller activates one function region among the plurality of function regions based on the touch time about the touch screen. The touch screen distinguishably displays the activated function region according to a control signal of the controller. The plurality of function regions is indicated around a touch spot or indicated in a designated location on the touch screen regardless of the touch spot. The plurality of function regions are distinguishably indicated by using at least one of size, color or sharpness of the function region. |
