PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic glow plug which improves the productivity better than before and secures a fitting force between a metal outer cylinder and a ceramic heater. SOLUTION: The ceramic glow plug includes the metal outer cylinder fitted around the outer periphery of the ceramic heater and electrically connected to a first electrode taking-out part via a first metal layer, a metal ring in the outer periphery of the ceramic heater which is fitted to a rear end side from the metal outer cylinder and is electrically connected to a second electrode taking-out part via a second metal layer, an axis having an edge fitted to the rear end side of the metal ring, composed of a conductor, and formed in a rod shape, and a housing where the edge side of the ceramic heater projects from its edge and a rear end side of the ceramic heater is held inside via the metal outer cylinder.
