An air conditioner of the present invention includes: a casing having an air inlet and an air outlet; a water cooling chiller for cooling the air inhaled to the air inlet as coolant supplied in a cooling tower passes through a condenser and is heat-exchanged with a refrigerant and a cooling coil is arranged in the casing; a preheating heat exchanger installed in the casing and in which air heat-exchanged with the cooling coil is heat-exchanged with the coolant heat-exchanged with the refrigerant in the condenser; and an electric heater installed in an air flow direction next to the preheating heat exchanger and in which the air passing through the preheating heat exchanger is heated. The power consumption of the electric heater can be reduced. |
