PURPOSE: A header pipe of a heat exchanger and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve productivity of the header pipe by improving the tube injection hole processing method of a heat exchanger header pipe tank and simplifying processing procedures. CONSTITUTION: A header pipe of a heat exchanger comprises a header, and a tank. A plurality of slots which a tube(150) is inserted into are formed in longitudinal direction in multiple lines in the header. A barrier wall portion(112) is projected toward one side in the center of the header. The tank(120) is fixed at one side of the tank and a plurality of coolant paths(121a,121b,122a,122b) are formed by a compartment partition. A barrier wall portion mounting groove(127) corresponding to the end of the barrier wall portion of the header and a plurality of tube insertion holes corresponding to the slot are formed at one side of the tank. The compartment partitions of the tank are symmetrical based on the width central line of the tank. |
